about 8pm with the sun setting the ants gathered on the skylight window once again. this time, though, we were ready. mom grabbed every used towel in the house and i got the ant and spider killer. it was a 10 second operation but the result was astounding. when the lights were turned on we looked on the used towels and saw hundreds of dead ants. mission accomplished.
Garrett At The Lake

I'm finding a new kind of beauty in this place. This is really Garrett's first weekend here, and I have really been moved by how much wonder and excitement this place holds for my little boy. Today, the Hammond kids found a turtle crawling in the flower beds close to the house. I took Garrett out there to see it, and he was absolutely fascinated. He would look at it, point, and then look at me with a big smile. It made me tear up it was so precious.
Memorial Day

Saturday evening. just ate dinner and in the process attempted to avoid more than 1,000 ants that have made their home in the dining room. shea began noticing them in marvin's food and we adjusted. i ate in the kitchen. marvin and shea went outside and dad stayed where he was. this is just the first night. let's see what the next few nights bring.
Palm Beach Website is ready!

We started developing this website in November, and it is finally ready. We hope that all of you folks who have ever come to Palm Beach At Pickwick will join the site and tell your Palm Beach stories. We are still adding pictures and other content to the site at this point, but the basics are ready and we are very excited about the website.
